Challenge Team and Leadership Development Events

It's an adventure with a difference. It's a motivational tool that can have a positive impact on corporate life. And of course it's fun!

Organised by a team of successful individuals with backgrounds in corporate development and event management, Go Beyond offers a unique experience both on a personal and professional level.

As part of the programme we will prepare you for the two day event with the proven 'Prepare to Perform' workshops from Andy (Enduroman) Mouncey.

Teams then get to complete the two day orineteering style adventure, in which determination, stamina and brain power will be challenged

Go Beyond Challenge Programmes.

Alternatively we offer the option for a yacht based programme, the principles of the programme remain entirely unchanged we merely change the metaphor for analysing effective team working

Go Beyond Challenge Programmes

Following the "event", we run sessions led by Steve Adams in your workplace to explore what you've learnt. Through our "Discovery" process we explore teamwork and what makes it work and what gets in the way as well as the role of leadership in team development.

This unique corporate endurance/activity event encompasses the ups and downs of team development in days, which in the workplace can take months.

Structure of the Programme

The Programme is structured in 3 distinct phases.

Go Beyond Corporate
Unlike other events of this type this is at the heart of the programme. At a mutually convenient date before the event starts we have top sports and commercial coach Andy Mouncey (Mr Doing Big and Scary) who will take you through his unique “Prepare to Perform” programme. This is a half day session taking place on your own premises and through it you will discover: -

  • How to prepare your team
  • How to prepare you mind
  • How to prepare your body
  • How to prepare yourself for improved business and team performance

Go Beyond Corporate
The Event takes place over during a day either in the Northamptonshire Countryside or Lake District and is a multi terrain orienteering format with a twist. Although this is a footrace the fastest across the ground are not necessarily likely to win.

Alternatively The Event can be aboard a yacht where the team dynamics are tested

To succeed you will need to use all of the varied talents of your team and formulate strategies which realise the potential of the team and the individuals in it.

The Event is challenging enough for the hardened endurance athlete or experienced Yachtsman but not so extreme that people with average fitness will not be able to complete the challenge. We realise that not everyone is an aspiring Paula Radcliffe or Ben Ainslie and different people bring different aspects to a team and it is how a team utilises these qualities that gets success.

So…….. It's also not just for the hares, we challenge you cerebrally too so watch out for the brainy tortoises!!

To win you will need to:-

  • Overcome the challenge of navigation
  • Develop the best strategies
  • Meet the cerebral challenges
  • Be fit enough to cover the ground
  • Understand the talents of the whole team and get thinking about how to achieve the best out of the team by maximising individual talents

Go Beyond Corporate
Two workshops led by Steve Adams. As with the Andy Mouncey sessions these will be run at your own premises on dates that are convenient to you but within six weeks of the event's completion. The first part is a one day session that will cover:-

  • What did you learn about yourself?
  • What made the team function?
  • What didn't?
  • What was relevant to the working environment?
  • How can I apply it and what is my plan, what outcomes do I expect as a result?
  • From this we will help you develop action plans that will change the way you tackle team building and operate as a team player in order that you develop or are part of a high performing and winning team.
This is then followed by a half day session six to twelve weeks after the first. This will cover:-
  • The implementation of the action plan
  • How the team are reacting?
  • What benefits are you seeing?
  • What areas need adjusting based on “real life” operations?
And why do all this?

Because we create great teams
In a nutshell – there is no better way to create great teams for your business. In just a few days your relationship with your colleagues will be completely transformed – and the life skills you learn will start paying off, for you and the business, Monday morning back in the office.

Because you'll have the time of your life
From a personal perspective you can expect the most amazing experience – one that stays with you long after the mud on your boots or running shoes has dried, or you have got the salt out of your hair. If you're looking for adventure, a chance to show what you're made of and a chance to meet varied challenges, head on with your team mates – then look no further.

Because the benefits impact your whole company
The benefits of participation can be felt all year round by the whole business. Companies use the event in different ways and have different objectives. Listed below are some of the benefits that our clients say they get from participating
